So happy at the grand old age of 16 months and 1 week he has finally started walking round the place. He had taken a few steps before today but he is actually walking without prompting now!!!! Lara, i think what made the difference to his confidence was that we started using reins to help him walk so he thought he was doing it himself even if we were helping him balance a little. Now he's off!!! If Chloe is the same as Lucas then maybe it will work for her too??? Only started using the reins yesterday so only took 24 hours!

I'm well chuffed for you nic (if a little jealous he he!!) Thanks for the tip hun, think i might get some reins then!! I have been making a real effort to get her walking, been walking her to and from the car to the house, walking her round the house where i would normally carry her, even walked round town with her the other day, just holding one hand and pushing the stroller with the other!! I know she can do it and loves it, she just doesn't have the confidence although she is def getting nearer, she starting to balance more on her own and getting more confidence with that too!! Wedding is less than 3wks so very much doubt she will be walking by her self by then but you never know - she will probably surprise me!! Congrats again hun! Lara xx

Sounds the same as Lucas before I used the reins so it's worth a shot!!! Good Luck!!! My brother's wedding was July so Lucas wasn't walking for that unfortunately but still got pics of him standing up!!!
