I almost didnt make it for my 21 day bloods OOOPS

I completely forgot I was meant to go for my blood test today and only remembered at 4pm!!
I telephoned the hospital to see what time the department shuts (feeling sure it shut at 4) and they told me 4.15 so dh drove like a bat out of hell to the hospital and I just made it with seconds to spare!
I nearly cried when she said she would take my blood WHOO

Yeah I was in a real panic, driving like a mad person, sweating buckets and then afterwards was thinking to myself they tell us to 2 "relax" yeah right!

So, when do you find out your results, monday? i will have to call for mine and thats always nightmare, I never get through to the right people and they make me feel like im a nusience. I have absolutely no idea if ive ovualted... i know we were going to wait till monday after next but i think i might have to sneaky test next week, ive realised cyclewise i am a few days before you, im actually cd25 today, but think i ov (if at all) about CD17/ 18...Maybe test wednesday, that will be day 30, surely a postive should show by then...

When i got BFP with ectopic i was only 10dpo... tempting to test early again!

Arrrrrraaaggghhh

LOL i was exactly the same only got hubby to drive so i didnt have to faf with parking plus he is much better at drving than me LOL

I think i ov around cd 16 or 17 according to follicle tracking but im gonna do my best not to test early cause iv seen so many ladies get bfn then their bfp a few days later, i dont want to put myself through the anguish of testing every other day just incase if you know what I mean.
I guess cd 30 would be ok tho thats 13 dpo x

Hey ladies. What are you like? unlike you pair I had to wait 25 minutes after my appointment time to get my bloods done today. I decided to go to my GP to get my bloods done as slightly nearer than hospital as less hassle with parking. WOuld have been quicker to go to hospital after all. The nurses hands were bloody freezing too, she should have been a pastry chef!! Anyway bloods taken, results should be available from Monday I am CD20 think OV'd CD14. Going to test week tomorrow xx

Don't feel too bad, I completely forgot my Day21 test .. I realised on Day25, went and had the test, and of course, no not ovulating. Thankfully when I went on time it showed ovulation. I wouldn't mind but I had spent all my time thinking about it, so much I actually forgot it !!!

Hi,

I cant believe how quick you get your blood back. I went on Monday to hospital and was told a week!!

Can anyone explain what follicle tracking is as I've only heard of it on here and wonder if I should mention it to my GP when I got back to the fertility clinic in Sept,

Follicle tracking I am having is to check for ovulation as im on clomid. I have an internal scan on cd12 then every other day. They look at womb lining and ovaries to see if there are any developing follicles. They can then tell over the course of a few days if you have ovulated or not.
Not all hospitals offer this tho and I will only have it until they know I have ovulated and have the correct dose then i will just have to rely on 21 day bloods xx

I had not heard of it either until I used this site. If no OV this month I am going to ask my consultant about it, if not available, we will consider going private although guess that would be pretty expensive :( I think it sounds really useful and extra reassurance on this rollercoaster ride of ttc & clomid!! xxx

Loubylou,

How do you find the time to go every other day for scans? I haven't told my work about my issues and they just know I have to go the hospital every so often, wondering if it would be best to tell them but also worried about the image of me being focused on life outside of work!

Well the scans only took a matter of 10 minutes, I was only ever there a max of 20. I told my work about it so there wasnt a problem and the slot for my consultants clinic was between 3-4 pm so I just booked the latest one they had so I didnt really have to leave work too early as I finish a 3.45 anyway plus dont live/work far from the hospital so I was just really lucky x

Okay, blood results, here goes:

Progestrone was 56.8... woo hoo, at least i ovulated! On the down side I am about 10dpo and i have had slight bleeding today (pinky red, mixed in with cm and only when i wipe... sorry tmi) also a few very very mild cramps.. cant help but feel its af starting early, but god, wouldnt it be brillient if it was Implantation!

I didnt have it last time as poor little bean was stuck in my right tube... fingers crossed the bleeding stops and im still in with a chance, i dont want to get my hopes up too much, I havent had any other symptoms, however surely they tend to kick in once bean is safely implanated and making your hormones go wild? Look now my imagination is running wild!

I spoke to fertility nurse who advised she suspects based on my scan that I ov around friday 24th so she said to text this friday (14dpo) I will be day 31 of cycle, if It is implantation today, is 5 days enough to show a postive?

Baby dust please!

Anybody else got there results yet?
