Subject : Cant seem to get him to poo in the potty or toilet!!

Matthew is 2 and hes taken to the potty really well but he wont poo on it!! Frown When he needs a poo he will start running up and down the hall saying im ok, im ok and then he starts jumping! LOL! He does this to stop the poo coming out and eventually the need to go passes, then he goes through the whole thing again when the urge comes back and he eventually ends up pooing on the floor!!! Mad He ends up saying his tummy hurts which must be happening because he holds it in. Ive tried rewards, hugs, talking or telling him it makes me sad or cross but nothing works! Anyone got any ideas?? please Confused xxxx

Out of the blue, my little boy (almost 2 and a half) asked to use the toilet. This is after having no luck with getting him to wee or poo in a potty! I was totally in shock and quickly got the little trainer seat I had for the toilet and plonked him on it. He then told me to shut the door (obviously likes his privacy). From outside the door, I heard a plop and couldn't believe it.
I'd had my little nephew (almost 9 yrs) staying with me and my little boy was following him everywhere and must have seen him using the loo. If you have any friends or family with older boys that they may look up to - then my advice is let them stay for a few days lol!! My little boy has been dry during the day for 2 days now with just one little accident. Am still putting a nappy on at night time tho.... good luck! x
