I think I should get shares in Rennie tablets!

The fruit tablets are good and dont taste too bad. Ive had awful heartburn for the last 2 weeks and they really help. Dont think it helps that the boys are so high up (im still in normal trousers!)

i find peppermint tea really helps me, especially as everything i eat seems to give me heartburn, Milk is what my dad reccommended to me, its what he uses, but i don't like milk on its own so i have been having a milkshake after tea and that helps a little too.

milk with banana nesquik powder and asda own cheapie antacid tablets are fab and taste nicer than the mint ones

I have got Altacil? liquid on prescription off the doctor as Gaviscon does nothing for me that I swig from the bottle in the middle of the night!

I went through a phase where really cold yogurt helped too, especially after a meal.

I've been swigging gaviscon straight out the bottle too! That and having a warm cup of milk just before bed (seriously, how old am I??!!) seems to help with the horrid night time heartburn too xxx

I always found eating fresh pineapple after a meal stopped me getting heartburn and previously I had really been suffering. And it counts as one of your five a day.

I am killed with heartburn every time I eat, to the point where I was ebing sick every night but in the last week I found the best thing!! A bowl if vanilla ice-cream with tinned or fresh pineapple straight after dinner or when the heart burn starts this has been the only thing that for me works.

I have got 3 flavours of Crusha milkshake syrup and have been drinking loads. Smile It has helped a bit.

I also have the little green pack of Gaviscon Cool tablets to chew occasionally, it just has a mint flavour which is a bit chalky, but not too offensive. I think you are meant to chew 2 but I find that even 1 helps enough for me.
