Hi Girls,

Haven't been on here in sooo long (about 11 months). I made myself STOP all contact as i was getting so down with all the BFN's i was experiencing and seeing what seemed to be everyone getting the BFP's!

Anyways, we had to stop trying for 8 months :( as we are getting married this year :) I had hoped with my mind being preoccupied with the wedding that i would fall pregnant, but just my luck... no. We are now fast approaching 3.5 years of trying!

Today we had our 1st appointment at the Fertility Clinic (waited MONTHS for appointment) because i don't have periods. Oh my god, i was traumatised. I didn't realise they would want to do an internal on me and i had a camera scan inserted - the full works, was so bad. ANYWAYS, i am being put on tablets to kick start my periods and they will track my ovulation, if that fails, i am being put on Clomid.

I get married in Sept, so i am PRAYING for a honeymoon baby as i will so chilled out and happy knowing that after the wedding we will be getting the LONG awaited help to get our wee angel on it's way to us!

Can't seem to see any familiar usernames on the board, so i only hope they were sucessful in conceiving!

So, can anyone tell me about their experiences with the Fertility clinic and clomid???

Hello, dont think i've ever spoken to you before. I'm on clomid 100mg, 3rd round, i have had a few side effects but not too bad, mainly moodswings and hot sweats and last month around ovulation i had headaches. When i first when to fertility clinic i had bloods and HSG to check tubes and hubby had 2x SA.

Hello! I had bloods done at docs, then referred to clinic. I've had internals, HSG and OH SA. I'm on clomid 50mg, I'm on 5th round, one more to go, plus the clinic has just prescribed me another 6 months worth.
I had headaches initially on clomid but then switched taking them to at night and things a bit better. Also I get very thirsty!

just thought i would say hello.

I have my first appointment tomorrow - i thought it would be for an inital consultation - but will make sure i am prepared for having an internal now having read your post.

I have very irregular periods - and have only had a few in the last year - can i ask what medication they put you on to regulate your periods?
