Subject : can't believe she's growing up so fast

Went to get pippa weighed today (13lb 6) and the hv asked how she's doing with her ruflux i told her not to bad and she said if we go back in two weeks we can discuss weaning her off her gaviscon. She said as she'll be 17 weeks if she starts bing sick once we stop the gaviscon we should start her on baby rice. Can't believe we might be starting to wean her soon, she's my baby i just feel shocked that she could be nearly ready where has the time gone. I'm sure she'd love to try something to eat as she loves watching us eat but i don't think i'm ready for it yet. Fingers crossed she comes of her gaviscon ok and i can put it of for a little while longer

part of me thinks she's be better of staying on her gaviscon for a while longer then weaning early, my dh's family has a history of chrons disease and mil suffers really badly so really want to avoid weaning her earlier then needed. She sleeps really well over night and feedds every five hours during the day so i don't see the need to rush into weaning
