Wow MKB that is a really interesting story!!
I had a read through all of the comments and there are some very though provoking points.
I can't really comment on what Dr Walsh is saying as this is my first and I have nothing to compare.

If anything it has made me more open minded to the possibility of an epidural - not sure that was his intention hahaha!

probab;y the only peice i agree with!
i never had epidural and hope i would never need one! but if i had to i would!
Isnt it our bloody choice!!!
not some man who lets face it all men have no idea about pain threshold!!!
