So hubby's SA came back today and it says "count is normal but movement is poor" and he has to ring again tomorrow to speak to another Dr about it. Has anyone else had this happen? I've read various things about it but obviously don't really know what it means until we speak to another Dr.

Hello,

Sorry to hear that the SA didn't all come back all ok. I assume that your doctor is on about the motility. It could be that the spermies are all slow moving, or that they aren't moving in the right direction etc.
Did they give any numbers or percentages or will your husband be getting this info when he speaks to the other doctor tomorrow?

I think that he only spoke to a receptionist who told him to call back tomorrow to speak to a Dr., so he's going to request to talk to the lady doctor who I've seen as well and hopefully we'll make a list of questions tonight for him to ask.

Hi lougla - they should give you %. My hubby has recently had an SA back and his count was normal but his motility was poor - just 7% when it's supposed to be at least 50%. x

Hi KayeCee, did they give you any indication at the Dr's what this would actually mean for you?
