Subject : OV twice in one cycle??

I think I know the answer to this, but is it possible to ov twice in one cycle? I had a few faint +ve's on opks 2 weeks ago, then nothing for a week (waiting for strong +ve) and then a v. strong +ve last Monday a whole week later, so figured that I ov late and I'm now in 2ww and due af early next week. But, I had ewcm with the faint +ve's, as I did with strong +ve, but only had nausea with strong +ve (which I got with ov last cycle, 1st after mc). So, what does that mean?!?! God, this is all so confusing ;)

Also, I've got loads of symptoms now...constant nausea (actually off work cos was sick this morning and cant face journey to work) for 3 days getting worse, v. sensitive nipples (tmi sorry!) big heavy (.)(.), v v v emotional (not just weepy, manically happy, funny things are totally hilarious, DH either kill him annoying or sexiest man alive etc), v bloated, weird dreams (vampire dentists at school anyone?!) so I'm totally convinced I'm pg...but if I ov only a week ago, surely is WAY too early to be getting all these symptoms? Trying not to get hopes up in case I get af this week (originally thought was due tomorrow).

Thoughts anyone? Sorry for the ramble!! xx

I think the really strong line was probably when you ov'd - I had loads of EWCM about a week ago and was sure I was OV but still not had + and now got no EWCM. It's so confusing. But I'm fairly sure you can only ov once per cycle - even if you release 2 eggs it still happens at the same time.

Hi hun,

Your body can gear up for ov & then not do it till a bit later that's why you can sometimes get various days with +ve opks, especially on the cheapies. I would get +ve for days then nothing then get them again later in my cycle along with ov pain!!! Very confusing isnt it, as long as you've done plenty of bding then you know you have covered all bases.

Good luck xxx
