Subject : Thrush (sorry tmi!) What can I use?

Morning Ladies,

Sorry for the 'lovely' topic so early on a Monday morning! Basically, it's as the title suggests, I have thrush but I don't know what creams etc I can use.... does anyone have any experience of this and if so, what can I/ can't I use?!

Thankyou in advance! xxx

hiya i suffered whilst pregnant, you can use canestan cream but not the pessaries, and you can get it from your mw or gp on prescription as its free when preg and it is really common so dont be shy to ask!!

Hey hunny! I've had thrush loads of times since being pregnant and the only thing that clears it for me is the pessaries. They just tell you not to use the applicator so you don't push it too high up. You can use canesten cream aswell. Go to the docs and they'll do you a prescription. I've been there every few weeks asking for one. They just do it me over the phone now....think they're sick of seeing me! lol!
Hope it clears up soon!
Take care

Interesting - my gp and mw prescribed the cream, pressaries and told me to use the applicator. I've not used it yet though.
