Subject : V V confused.negative PG test again!!

hi girls ,well im hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this!

i have had about 6 positive PG tests since 10 DPO and intermittently a few negative also, one positive test was done in the evening,i have used FR,CB and CBD,all negative on CBD(last test yesterday) some positive and some negative on FR and 1 positive and 1 negative on CB.

i went to the drs at 4+1 to ask for bloods to put my mind at rest, she sent me away and told me to stop testing and come back a week later if no AF and she would book me in with midwife etc,she said i was testing early.....i complained i had had some negative tests.she also told me to stop testing...i did manage for 3 days, yesterdays yests CBD was "not pregnant" and FR wasnt even a faint line......today i was so obsessed i didnt drink hardly anything from 7pm,rinse out my pee pot with FMU and then peed in my pot with midstream FMU..LOL!!

negative result on FR

what the hells going on?

my boobs still hurt im still getting cramps, and i was in such a bad mood last night,i wanted to cry and had to apologise to hubby for my bad mood,i explained i thought i would get my period,he could see i was upset and he hugged me.

i just need answers i think!

i have had e mail back from private hospital and they said they will scan me from 6 weeks(i was so worried about this PG i wanted to get early scan,dr told me NHS wouldnt do it,so id have to pay)

i dont know what to think...surely if test was negative yesterday i would have started bleeding?

im so confused!!Frown

xxxxxx

Im sorry honey but all you can do is be patient and wait. I praying that it will all be ok.
I had positive tests then on the morning of my dr appointment i did anothe hpt and it came up negative so oh went and bought 2 cbd and they also came up not pregnant.
I went to the dr and she did another test. i was supposed to be 5+5. She booked me for a scan but later that day i started bleeding. I still went for my scan and they said it was a chemical pregnancy.

I just wanted to give you my experience but all the time your not bleeding there is still hope.
Please try not to stress i did and i blamed myself a little.
Sending you big hugs x x x x

Oh Clare..this is one post I really did not want to see hunny Frown

We all saw the lines on your FR tests earlier in the week and they were def positive!!

If you are now getting negative tests then it could well have been a chemical pregnancy Frown

IF it is a chemical pregnancy then you may not start to bleed straight away.

With my chemical in January it was 8 days after my first negative (after positive tests) until I bled.

With the one this last cycle it was 5 days after the first negative (after positive tests).

I really DO hope it's just a glitch in your hormones and you really are pregnant

Massive hugs, I think you need them Frown

Hi Clare

Sorry to read this post and your ongoing confusion and fustration. It does sound likely that you have detected a chemical pregnancy (very early miscarriage). The trouble with early testing (before AF even due) is that you can pick this up, if you hadn't have tested early you may have been unaware and just thought you had a strange, couple of days late AF.

Unforutately for us, but I guess understandable for the NHS and even provate hospitals, they do not look into these occureneces or scan women - simply because there is nothing they can do to stop the process happening and the baby/cells/yolk sac is too small to be picked up on a vaginal ultrasound until 5-6 weeks.

I do hope this isn't the case for you as I too saw your pics earlier in the week. We are all here for you xx

Hi Claire.

So sorry you are going through this.
I've been logging in over the last few days to check up on how your doing.

I hope & pray that this pregnancy will be ok but if i'm honest it sounds very much like my last chemical pregnancy in April :(

The tests i buy online were coming up with 2 lines but they were taking 4-5mins to show up. I did 3 CB digital which all said not pregnant. I was so confused. Finally on the monday morning a CB said pregnant 1-2. However the other tests were still the same & not getting any darker.
I decided not to test again but deep down i knew it wasn't good as i'd had 2 chemical pregnancies before at 5+4wks.

I booked an appointment with my gyne doc for 5wks, he did a scan which showed a 'possible' sac. Told me to go back 2 days later so he could use a better scan & by then there was nothing there
However i had been bleeding for 4 days by then & was taking progesterone.

With regards to your GP, i think their attitude is a bit off to be honest.
When i had my first chemical pregnancy....( i prefer to call it early loss) i asked my GP for blood tests as i was convinced something was wrong as my tests weren't getting darker & were actually getting a little lighter. They did blood tests over a few days which confirmed that my HCG levels were very low & barely increasing. However the witch for a GP broke the news ever so nicely & said 'your barely pregnant go home & wait to miscarry'.

Is there another GP you can speak too?
Having blood done would be an easier way of working out whats going on & i don't see why they can't do it for you.
