Not sure why I am posting this but Lily has got her first fever.

Got home from work today to find that OH had gone to his mothers with Lily (17 months by the way). His mother and aunty had both said how out of sorts, sleepy and roasting hot Lily was but none of them thought to take her temperature or give her some calpol. By the time I got to her she was drowsy and a bit floppy with a temperature of 39! God only knows how long she had been like that.

Gave her some calpol and she was much better half hour later but still not herself. Just checked her now and her temp is 37.6.

Sometimes I do wonder what goes through my husband and his families heads!

I just feel bad that I was at work when she was feeling so poorly at home

Aww bless her. My mum is a bit like that, Lily had a temp most of the afternoon but she never told me when I rang to see if they were all ok! I got home and thought it was odd she was so hot and then asked my mum who said she'd been like it for ages....argh! Calpol saves the day again. Hope Lily is feeling better soon. xxx
