Subject : Confused - is this Braxton Hicks? (also in due in September)

Hmmm, I've been having what feel like mild period pains and tightenings in my tummy which I have googled and it looks like it could be BH, however....

This morning when I woke up my whole tummy contracted, like it would if you were about to be sick (if you know what I mean?) but I didn't feel sick and it wasn't painful, it's just unlike anything I have felt before.

Any ideas what it could be?

It might be BH, they can be quite painful so it's possible.

I'd call your mw if you are concerned though and get checked out. Better to be safe than sorry x

Hi Lulu,

I suffered from this type of pain a few weeks ago and when I mentioned it to my MW she told me that it was BH. Don't panic about it. As long as goes away and you don't get a Show - you should be o.k. It's a bit uncomfortable but it goes away. Well, mine did.

If you want to speak to your MW, it'll be fine. Better safe than sorry.

I'm at 33wks and the BH contractions happened at 31weeks.
Take Care
