This is little Toby. We adopted him last week from the local rescue home. He is 8 weeks old. He is a black lab x collie. We just love him

OMG he is so cute !! He looks just like my Sock when she was that age but shes brown!! Let me see if i canf ind a pic, she has exactly the same floppy ears and white markings!! xx

She was about 5 months here i think

And just so you know how big she is now ... she still has the adorable floppy ears though!!

He was too cute I had to bring him home, I was crying! He was the last pup of the litter and the one that we had choosen before we knew who was left - fate.

Aww lets see Katie. I was thinking of calling him Socks cos of his white paws ;)

My hubby told me today that he keeps on lookin at Toby's pic at work as he misses him!! Dunno what has got into him ;) I said aww how sweet do you do that with me and the kids. You guess the reply heehee

I think he looks like a springer crossed with possibly lab as well

oh my god, I think I just melted into a pool of goo lol ....he is so beautiful!! I love dogs and puppies are the best!! My mum has 2 spaniels (now 3) and we bred from them & the bitch had 4 puppies. They were such a handful but so incredibly cute. We couldn't afford to keep them though so we sold them - £350 each as they were pedigrees. But I love crosses too - Toby is GORGE. ...

Yeh we called her Sock because of the paw too.. original eh?

The westy is called Bitzie.. now that is original because Lee made it up one night when he was drunk.. we call her Bitz most of the time and when we are out walking them we are like "bitz come here" we always get funny looks........ i think people think we are calling her BITCH!

Bitz and Sock how cute! They are adorable. Did you have your doggies before lo? If so did they take to Gracie Faye ok?

I have introduced Toby to Charlie but Charlie doesn't seem too interested at the moment. Toby does seem very interested in Charlie's feet

I think that we have mastered the toilet training now. No accidents during the day and at night he does his business on the newspaper. If only kiddies were that easy to toilet train

OMG he is absolutely gorgeous hun!! I must put some pics of Dudley and Peppa on here!! They are 8.5 weeks old now!!
How are you getting on? Is he sleeping/eating well??
Our two are also very good with the toilet training. Only go on paper or outside :) They sleep well at night too. I think it might be because they have each other to cuddle up to! x x x x

awwww he is sooo adorable!!!! I used to be scared of Dogs but when we lived in NZ we stayed with a couple who had a golden retreiver (sp?) and a collie cross lab who i just fell in love with.

We now have a 4 year old Labradoodle called Flora who is just amazing (and tolerant!) with the kiddies!!!

Yeh we had Bitzie first, Sock a year later and Gracie faye a year after that. They are fab with her, bitzie was a little depressed at first but got over it.

Bitzie got depressed! Take it she felt left out. Thats excellent they alll get on. I am sure that Toby will be fine with the kids as they are here already. I thought the only problem would have been with the dog if we had him first like what happened with Bitzie.

Sugar N Spice - I was thinking about how you were getting on! Toby seems to have mastered the toilet already. Outside or on the paper. Phew - Get pictures!!!

The first night was a killer. He howled and cried!! Was like having another baby in the house. But he has settled really well. 2nd night he was fine and has been ever since. He is so hyper in the morning when he sees us.

Took him to the vets 2 nights ago and was sick! Must be the car that unsettles him. Just gotta get him used to it
