Subject : Mamas & Papas Luna

Has anyone got one of these? Are they any good?

Have persuaded OH to let me have another pushchair. I'm fed up with the Silver Cross 3D. I'm finding it too heavy and bulky so will put it on ebay hopefully.

Any comments welcome, thanks xx

Hi I have one and i do like it but it's not that lightweight and is still quite bulky. We also have the pop as our lightweight buggy. The m&p aria is really lightweight and folds up really small (my auntie has one for her grandson) and it is much easier than the luna. I do really like it though and going to get the carrycot for it for when no.2's here.

I'm not really after a lightweight pushchair as such cos we have a Silver Cross Fizz. I just want something to replace the 3D. It has handles and I find it very hard to steer with one hand when needed. Whereas the Luna has a handlebar so imo should be easier for that purpose.

I went from the 3d to the luna because of all the things you described. only thing i didnt like about the luna was the fact that it will tip with anything at all on the handle and the fact that the raincover is rubbish at folding away. appart from that a good pushchair.

In that case then yeah it's great and easy to push 1 handed. Rhys is a similar age to charlotte too and he still has loads of room in there. like lc says though it does tip if u have too much on the back but being a bar handle it's not that easy to have stuff on it anyway.

Hiya

I actually bought a Luna and got it delivered yesterday, havent used it yet but they look brilliant.

Got it from boots for £131.34 and with triple points, £15 worth of advantage points so really £116

Triple points when you spend ?25 or more on selected Baby

They only have it in truffle and cress though, I got truffle as the bright colours are lovely but maybe a little too much and would just attract dirt!

xx

forgot to mention, Did you know that if you buy online with Boots you have to go to a machine in the shop to have them added to your card?

I must have lost loads of points this way.

We've got the M&P Ora, in Lava, black/orange, it's great but sadly has to go and make room for a double! It's the same style as the Luna but doesn't have the funky colours. We bought it from Argos and got the bag, cosytoes and raincover as part of the deal. I think it's £131 at the moment on there - but just for the plain black one. There are new ones the same colour as ours listed on Ebay for really good prices - will be competition for mine when I get round to listing it!
It's really light to steer, sturdy but lightweight and Rhi has been really comfy it in. She especially liked the bumper bar and 'free' harness. I'd have another for sure. Hope this helps! xx

Thanks for your replies. Bought one from our local M&P store - didn't know they had it in Boots - doh!

Anyway I love it!! I bought it in truffle colour and got the liner too as it's so soft. It's much easier to steer than the 3d even with Charlotte in it. She loves sitting in it as seems to have a better vantage point and can see more as she is nosy. She loves the harness (so do I) and the bumper bar. OH has been convinced too which is good as he wasn't sure it would be any good. So glad I bought it now! 3D will be going on ebay in the next couple of weeks.

Glad you like it!

I used mine yesterday for the first time and I also love it, it's really easy to push and the most important thing is Tabitha loves it!

I wish I'd got one from birth as when the seat unit is at its lowest its flat which is great fro naps.

Hope it wasn't too much price difference,

xx

I was going to get the luna untill i was recomended the petite star zia. I found an exelent deal which saved me a fortune. Got footmuff and parasol with it for free. I would recomend watching a video on it as it folds down so small and is very light.
