I had my booking in appointment with the midwife last Thursday where she took blood and a urine sample. She said there was blood in my urine and they would keep an eye on it.

We have been out all day today and we have just got back to find an answer phone message from the doctors asking me to call them. They didn't say what for or anything just to call them. Obviously its too late to ring them now and they will be closed all weekend so I am worried about waiting until Monday to hear from them.

Do you think I should be worried or do you think they would have made more of an effort to contact me (the midwife has my mobile number) if it was something to worry about?

I think you should try not to worry too much, if it was anything very serious they would have contacted you quicker and they would have rang you on your mobile to let you know to come in. Try and relax as much as you can and then ring them on Monday morning xxxxx

hi hun id try not to worry too much,you could have a uti if there was blood found in your urine.I've had uti's almost all way thru this pregnancy and am currently on my 6th lot of antibiotics!I'm sure it will be fine as long as you call on monday,good luck and hope all is ok xxx

They were ringing to check my date of birth because they had got me down as being born in 1991 not 1985!
My OH rang them this morning as soon as they opened to find out what they wanted then told them off for the answer phone message they left. He told them we had spent all weekend worrying something was wrong for an incorrect date of birth!
Silly woman!

OMG ! What a stupid stipid thing to do to a pregnant woman!
I agree the blood in your urine could be a uti hun x
