Hi MWB,
Just wanted to say hello, as I am also on 5th month of clomid, no luck as yet. Thought I was the only one who was this far with no luck as yet! Sorry it's not working for you just yet, do you still have another month to take?

Grrrrr - just typed a long post and it swallowed it!!!

Yeah I'm on 5 th round - I had 5 months left from the last time I got pg - the doc said to continue with them after my lap and dye following my ectopic. So af is due tuesday - don't think I'm pg - no symptoms as such - so have to call doc and then I guess it's IUI or IVF - very scary and also concerned about the length of time I might have to take of work.

How are you doing - are you using preseed or cough syrup - or eating anything special?

Hiya, cough syprup? Haven't heard of that one.
No - not using anything, taking pregnacare, but as usual really.
My AF due next Friday, no symptoms, so not getting hopes up. Especially as not worked yet. I have hospital appt on Wednesday, when I guess they'll start discussing next steps. Same as you, IUI or IVF.
It will be worth it in the end.

Hi ya,

Yeah clomid thickens your cervical mucus making it hard for the swimmers to swim in in - so taking cough syrup - Robussitan (spelling???) is the one every one uses - google it - they say to use for the 5 days before ov - you take it 3 or 4 times a day - whatever it says on the label. You can only get it over the counter in chemists - I'm not sure what other ones work - but I know it has to be for a chesty cough and an expectorant. It has to contain guistafan (spelling???) thats the stuff that helps cm be thinner.

Pre-seed is ok - it creates a an enviroment for the swimmers - many people have got pg with it and found it helpful.

Good luck hunny with your appt - let me know how you get on!
