Subject : Hey everyone - I'm sort of new

Hi every one - I got my BFP this morning and am due 17th of March with my first.

I was a member of Due in November 09 but unfortunately I had a MMC in April, We started TTC straight after so it happened quite quickly. I'm really terrified of the 12 week scan because last time we had no clue anything was wrong until we went for the scan and they told us the baby died at 6 weeks...

You can be sure I'll be demanding early scans and I'll probably be very neurotic for the next few weeks so bear with me girls!

I'm 25 and I work in London where I live with my fiancee. We've been together nearly 2 years

I seriously hope I get to stick around this time, altho I admit I'm feeling a lot more pregnant this time around - I feel sick already WhateeeEver!

Hi ScarletLady, sorry to hear about your experience. Congratulations and I hope that this time it's a much happier pregnancy.

You'd almost definitely qualify for an early NHS scan but I know a lot of girls book with places like Baby Bond for early scans, you could give those a go for reassurance maybe? I'm going to Future Babies in Reading which might not be too far from you. And don't worry about being neurotic, you won't be a patch on me...

I'm 22 and live in Berkshire with my hubby, we've been together almost 4 years. Are you getting married before baby arrives or after?

Welcome, and hope you have a healthy and happy nine months!

Becky

Hi ScarletLady.,
Congratulations on your BFP, I know exactly how you are feeling right now.
I was too once a member of due in Nov but I had a mc also in April I was 10wks. I also fell pg very quickly which was a complete shock to both me and my hubby as we had not had any luck conceiving for 6 years, so you can imagine our shock when we got our BFP after only my first AF.
It is such a worry as you have no idea what is going on inside, I really hope that you can get an early scan. Although having said that when I asked my GP i was told that I couldn't have an early scan unless I had had 3 or more MC, or I was having any problems.
Although having said that I did have a scare last week and ended up having an early scan ( I am 7 wks tomorrow) so my mind has at least been put a little at ease although I have to go back next week for another scan to check the progress. Although for me I dont think I will be 100% comfortable until I have passed that dreaded 10 wks and had my 12wk scan.
You be as neurotic as you like as I am sure that I and maye some of the others will be joining you in sending ourselves crazy!!
Anyway once again big congrats, and sending you lots of sticky baby dust, lookimg forward to chatting over the next 9 months.

Leigh-Anne x

thanks everyone :)

@moonbeam - the only symptoms I had last time were being really tired - no sickness or anything so I'm taking it as a really good sign lol
