does anyone else have any issues with the lg (leeds general infirmary)
ive been in and out of hospital with this pregnancy, and the hospital has lacked in hygine in ward 57 from word go, but what has concerend me more than anything is that i went to see my friend on the post natal ward and this is even worse. ie sanitry bins over flowing, having to change own bed, left on the toilet for 40 mins?
Im booked for a c section in 2 weeks and dreading it as i have to stay at least 2 nights. does anyone have any advice as to rights ie,
changing hospitals last min
staying in less nights
please help im a wreck!

Hi, with my first i originally said i wanted to have him at LGI ( not having seen it) but then i went to visit my friend who had just given birth and was disgusted with it so I changed to Jimmys, which I cannot fault one bit, so I would say speak to your midwife asap, tell her you want to change hospitals. LGI and Jimmys are both part of Leeds teaching hospitals so I can't see it being a massive problem, you are well within your rights to request a change in hospital. Good Luck xx
