Hi ladies,

My LO seems to have a spotty rash all over his face, sometimesit goes down but only for a few minutes, then it flares right back up again. He's had it for about 3 days now. He's not in any pain or acting any different and is still eating well, just wandered if anyone else has experienced this with your LO's.

Hayley and Zak xx

rash/spots?

I haven't personally but a couple of my friends' LOs have a rash. They were told that it was either heat rash or due to the hormones that are passed onto little boys from their mummies in the womb (I think they get a does of oestrogen which can cause spots, swollen nipples etc.)

If you are worried Ithough would ask your HV or see the GP

xx

yes had a rash spots all over annabelles cheeks, had them nearly 2 weeks all through the hot weather. the health visitor has seen her twice and not really been worried. could be milk spots or a heat rash but said it was fine and normal. annabelle is now getting them on her neck at the back and the top of her back, but hoping its a heat rash and were she sweats. all health visitor said was keep an eye on it!! but i dont know what is ok!! xxx

thanks for the replies. I'm not getting too worried about it because as I say, sometimes it disappears for a few minutes and he's definitely not in any discomfort but I just wanted to double check.

Bless us 1st time mummies for being so worried!!!
