Hi, at the end of the day its completly your choice however personally i wouldnt give my baby food until at least 16 weeks and i know what you mean about a child that wont sleep.

Could you try feeding her every 3 to 4 hours but more say 9ozs to try and make her stomach a bit bigger so she can hold more at night?

Good luck whatever you decide, you know your baby best

The advice now is to wait as close to 6 months before feeding as they sy this helps stop allergies and they digest the food better. I usally make 5 months.

my first two were taking solids at 16wks but luca didnt take well to it he got tummy cramps and was very unhappy. his tummy just wasnt ready so he was bf exclusively until 7.5 months when he was finnally ready. all babies are different get advice from g.p or hv and if you do go ahead then go very slowly one veg or fruit at atime so if you do get a bad reaction you can avoid that food for a few weeks and then try again.

hope that helps
