Subject : Being silly...

I know this is ridiculous but I really fancy a tuna sandwich but can't bring myself to eat it.

In my last pregnancy I made tuna pasta one night. Almost immediately after eating it I started getting stomach ache which moved down until it was just above my foof and got worse and worse until I ended up in hospital in the middle of the night with a UTI.

I know the tuna had nothing to do with it but I can't help associating the pain of the UTI with the tuna! I seriously thought I was having a MC that night I was in so much pain (it didn't happen for another few weeks) and I can't bear going through that again!

Feel free to tell me how ridiculous I am being!!

Me gatecrashing again! Happy

After a mc all sorts of things go through our heads and make us scared to do things that we logically know have NOTHING to do with anything.

I am the same.

In my first pregnancy I really started craving coke so after avoiding it for 8 weeks I allowed myself one small glass...2 days later I started bleeding. Now in this pregnancy I've really fancied coke again but it's taken me until 3 days ago to allow myself to drink some because I was so worried the caffine in it would make me mc again! Even though it'd be nowhere near the limit you're allowed. I gave in because my craving became so strong and I am really struggling with being able to drink anything anyway. Also I wanted to make myself stop being silly - but it's been on my mind since! WhateeeEver! The silly thing is a few weeks ago the only thing I could drink was Lucozade and that has about the same amount of caffeine in!

You are definitely not alone or going mad - just been through a lot.

Sending you ((((hugs))))

Love NN 13+1 xxx

I am really lucky and haven't been sick but I have been close on several occasions, this morning being one of them. I have found appletiser really settles my stomach, its the one thing that works that I haven't gone off yet! I have read fizzy water helps but I think it tastes like earwax so can't stomach it, I guess appletiser is just fizzy apple juice, and one of your 5 a day woohoo!

bigkisses, its fine honestly. It's my fault, I have gone on about it so much I presumed everyone knew, I should have made it clear in my OP. We called him Lumpy and referred to 'he' all the time so lets go with boy lol!

Nope, couldn't face it!
I am past all those dates too now sambooxx, the baby died at 6 weeks and I found out at 9 weeks and had erpc at 9+1 (going by LMP although I think I was about 6 days ahead of that from early OV)
I am 10+1 today, it feels good to be a double figures, a quarter of the way there!
