oh my god day 2 of clomid 100 mg and i have felt so sick all afternoon and then came home and was sick! i still do not feel any better! i have been extremely emotional and feel so low i know that this is def a side effect but has anyone felt or been sick??

I feel like giving up! i dont want to go through all this !!!

I wasn't aware of sickness. Call doctor and explain, perhaps dose is too high?

Hi Gemma, are you taking in the morning or night. I am yet to start Clomid (waiting AF) however from what I have read, you get less symptoms if you take at night. DO NOT GIVE P ....remember the dream and what could be the end result. Good luck xxxx

Thanks to the both of you! been sick all night! now iv got stomach cramps maybe the dose is too high!
ababyplease- i have to take 50mg morn and same again in eve its so hard then if you fall pregnant you feel awful for the first couple of months! i know im being neg but feel really sad and panicky bout it all xx

Hi im currently taking 100mg clomid but feeling ok, however last month i was on my first round of clomid 50mg and had lots of side effects. I suffered from really sore boobs, really bad cramps and i also was very low. My partner just didn't know what to do with me i kept crying all the time. I'm on cd 4 now and have 2 more days left of taking 100mg, i only have slight sore boobs and also slight dizziness this time round. I think your body just has to get used to it. If your still feeling ill i would give your doctor a call just to be safe. Keep your chin up, Han x

When i was prescribed clomid, doc said the main side effect was vomitting, i havent had any though but it sounds normal hun xxx

I'm taking 50mg of Clomid, only on day 2 tablet today but had a cracking migraine but no other side affects yet.

Gemmabob- Stick with it, it'll be worth it in the end but it sounds like you might need to speak to your doctor too.

I was clomid for 4 months when I fell pg - but unfortunatley had an ectopic pregnancy.

This time I have been on clomid 5 months - and not been sucessful.

Both times I have been moody as hell - its worse when taking the tablets - but in the days after taking them I'm depressed and feel blue. I know it makes me like this - and so does my poor man who has to put up with me!

I also had had flashing lights with them - on the days I take the tablets - but that goes when I've finished the 5 days.

I've turned into an ogre, snapping at people at work and generally feeling down. Not dealing with even the smallest issue at work, getting really annoyed with everyone!

Never been this bad before so I can only put it down to the Clomid. Fingers crossed I don't have to take many cycles of it!!

i had just clicked on here to put a post about clomid symptoms. i took my first course from fri to tuesday and i have been so moody and depressed for no reason. i didn't know what it was! i don't think my husband could cope with me being like it if i have to take it for months and months!!!

thank god i saw this! i am so glad it isn't just me. makes me feel a bit better.

fingers crossed for BFP's for all of us this month!!

i'm on month 5 with clomid, and i'm sorry to say the mood swings only escalate into full on strops as each month goes on!

Hopefully i can join you, I'm also on my first month, 50mg, had slight headache and also not been sleeping, not sure thats thats realted thou'
Only on day 3, so things can still get worse, Not sure the mood swings can get much worse, my PCOS has seen to that!

Oh Gem78 that sounds much like me with my first dose of 50mg. Just started my 2nd round with a stronger dose and on day 2, so far so good although not took todays tablets yets so only had one dose so far LOL

I actually finished my first month of clomid and i did not have any bad side effects but like my Dr. told me it effects everyone differently but i dont know if you are or not but i took mine late in the evening about 7-8 just after i ate dinner and i think that helped so much because when i would have been normally experiencing the symptoms i was asleep so i would highly recommend doing that if i were you!!! I actually went to the dr. thurs and he said my follicles were not as big as he would like so i went back in this morning and its doubled in size and i should ov in a couple days ...so i hope its working and i pray it works for you hun i know that it just seems so horrible going through it all but just think how it will fill to hold you baby in your arms and it will all be worth it then!!!
