Subject : Still getting cramps at 15 wks...?

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone else is getting period type cramps at this stage... I am 15 weeks tomorrow and have had dull cramps all day... not seriously bad ones, just a really low down dull ache... I have a doppler so I can hear the heartbeat bashing away so am not really that worried... just curious as I have had them practically all through my pregnancy so far.... anyone else in the same boat..?!
A xx

Hi there

I'm 33 weeks and have them at the moment! Kind of period like? I think now it's pressure but up until recently was stretching x

Ive had cramps of all sorts throughout the whole pregnancy. Stretching, pulling, pressure, baby moving so from my experience I would say yours are normal but you should be due for a midwife appointment soon (around 16 weeks??) so just check with her if you are worried. I always had a list of things to ask her about that I would create between appointments to put my mind at rest about everything.

Hi
I had had a dull ache in my lower abdomen on and off for a week now. Not as strong as period pains/cramping, but a constant ache that did worry me. Everything seems to be ok and spoke to my MW and she said can be normal. My bump has got bigger and moved upwards so I guess it is just the baby and uterus moving in to my abdomen.
They did die down for a few days but seem to be back again! This is my first pregnancy that has got this far so have nothing to compare it to!

Thank you girls... I know its impossible for our bodies to stretch to accommodate this new little person, but they do make you wonder..! Its reassuring to hear that you have all felt the aches too...
Good idea to write a list for my midwife... I am certainly going to do that.
Thank you again..

You will get cramps i did, sometimes feels like period type cramps, its your ligaments steching. I worried about this and was same at 15wks had hubby online checking it out and he found loads to reassure me, i hadn't discovered support of this site at 15 wks for some reason! You'll get all sorts of aches pains etc just ask on here as someone has been there and can help. I always have list for mw with lots of questions, never know if silly or not but she dont mind xx
