Just needed to tell you this as I wanted to burst out laughing…LOL

Went to boots for the BOGOF on FR so I took my 2 boxes of double packs to the counter and the women looked at me and said did you want to buy 2 I said yes as I looked over my shoulder hoping that no one from work could see or here this conversation (WALLS HAVE EARS!!!) anyway she asks me again are you sure and I say with a very calm but strained voice YES, its buy one get one free and finally she scans them through and then asks me if I need a bag, I don’t have a handbag on me so I just want to walk around town with my HPT’s swinging from each hand I mean DUH!!!!

Twinkle, your post reminded me to stop at boots on my way home and the woman did the same to me!

She stood there for about what felt like 20 mins asking me if they were any good and whats the difference between them and other brands, wouldnt it be cheaper if I brought the boots own brand? and on and on and on she went waving them around as she went...you would think she would have got the hint with my one word whispers! As I walked of she then shouted, ooo hope they work and your pregnant...argh could have died!!!

What is it with women in boots today!!! I also hot trotted too boots DH in tow to buy FR on BOGOF... 2 duel packs. and the lady at the till said... "they will all read the same you know...."

Like I was going to pee on all of them at the same time!?!?!?

Do you know how long they are on offer for? Im not buying any LOL, I havent even charted ov this cycle LOL so wouldnt know when to test!!! But def dont want to test early only if im really late!!! x

Laujai, I asked the shop assistant yesterday when the offer ended and she said till the end of the month (she thinks) or until the stock lasts.

I'm not due to test until 15th but as there were only 2 left yesterday I brought them but have hidden them away. If I gave them to hubby he would be worse than me and have me peeing now - Im only 4dpo!
He is obsessed and is sure we have done it and refers to 'our tadpole'...feels odd having to be the one to bring him down to earth and not the other way round....so hope he is right! :\)

Do you get the feeling that they have been told to push their own brand by any chance?? Do you know some retailers will do anything to push the staff to push certain products??
Sounds far too coincidental that there are sooooo many nosey staff memers who all think that boots own brand are better than FR

If anyone else gets questioned just say "Yes I could probably do with a few more in all honesty as me and hubbie have been rampant and having sex all day every day, all positions, out doors & indoors for weeks now!.....In fact if you could be quicker as i've left him B*****k naked tied to the bed and weve only got an hour before the in laws come round to visit!" that will shut them up!!!

The boots in Cardiff now has those self check out things which would be better for me, but I don't live in Cardiff anymore. I always go to the same old lady on the till at boots here, she is really nice and always gets me extra offers and points :) If there are people my age working or men I put the HPTs back on the shelf as I get really embarrassed buying them, I feel that everyone is thing 'that girl has had unprotected sex on a one night stand' and are tutting at me. I think I'll get the bogof online, its a really quick service and I only ovulated yesterday.

Em7 you made me laugh, I'd say the same thing but everyone would know I'd be lying because if I even get the slightest hint the in-laws are coming over I find a reason to be elsewhere :)
