Hello everyone, I am new to this website and we have been trying for a month now but I am confused over ovulation dates and was wondering if anyone can offer any advice please!

We already have a 4 year old & are really desperate for a brother or sister for him, I fell pregnant immediately with my first after coming off the pill so I never had to caluclate dates etc but now I do and I am getting confused.

I had my pill period start on the 8th June 09 & lasted 5 days. On Frirday 3rd July 09 I started getting pains etc & my period slightly started on Sat 4th but not heavy at all just like a dark red discharge (sorry if tmi)! anyway still on period now bit more normal yesterday & today just like usual (I am like this every month)

I have put my last period date of 8th June & put my cycle as 26 days (4th July) onto a ovulation calendar & it comes back with most fertile from next monday 13th July, would anyone agree with this?

Hi Lyndsay,

Everyone's body is different so it's not always easy to pinpoint ov. Sometimes it takes a few cycles to work out when your fertile time is.

Have you tried ov predictor kits? They are handy.

Otherwise, just keep a look out for ov signals such as wet cm.
