Subject : HELP!! Should i POAS?? -- update

this is probs gonna sound a bit far fetched but, im on the implant and i normally have a period for 4 days every 6-8 days. its awful!! my last period was on the 11th june, which was 3 weeks ago, which i have never had a gap that long since having my DD last year. well, on saturday, i started getting crampy period pains which i thought was AF coming, so i put on a sanitary towel and waited. it is now monday, and i have had cramps on and off since then, today they are very painful. i know it might be wishful thinking, but maybe i need to POAS??? i often get cramps b4 AF but only for a few hours.

please! some1 tell me what to do!!! xx

update, well, i still have awful tummy pains, POAS this morning, BFN, but not really bothered. still concerned that i have these pains, maybe if it was PG i dont think it would come up positive anyway, not yet, too early. but ive had 5 days of cramps now, and no sign of AF. lots of fairly runny EWCM tho (sorry tmi) ehy cant life be straight forward??!?!?!?!

it's a tough one gracie - i would say wait a week (if you can) then test. it might just be your body finally adjusting to the implant
i cant tell you how stupidly upsetting it is to convince yourself you might be PG then to get a BFN so if you can avoid testing for a while it might be easier on you.

i dont know much about the implant but if for some reason you did ovulate then it sounds like you would only be just about enough DPO to start testing anyway so worth waiting a couple of days

fingers crossed for you but even if you're not PG then at least you can be happy at having fewer bleeds Smile

It is a tough one Gracie..I think it depends. If you are ok with the fact it could be BFN because you are still on the implant then test just to put your mind at rest- that way you will know one way or another and not start symptom spotting and wondering (which is what I always do!)

If you know you will be truely gutted with a bfn then I would wait like other posters say.

Good Luck hun

im gonna leave it a few days before testing, not because i would be gutted with a BFN, because id rather not be as i have my colposcopy appt this month. but hopefully AF should arrive and i hope these pains stop cause they are awful!! i know that it is highly unlikely that i am PG, so i will just wait and see, but i know she will probs arrive soon. im so impatient!! lol! xxx
