Subject : Hypnobirthing...anyone tried it?
Hi ladies,
(also posted in labour&birth)
wondered if anyone has tried hypnobirthing and how they found it? I have just started my classes and find it fascinating but am wondering whether it is indeed possible to have a 'pain free birth'! Of course it sounds wonderful but I am slightly sceptical if Im honest-anyone who can convince me??

Hi, i only had one class, but read up quite a bit on it and i had a very quick and pain free birth! I was having mild contractions for 2 hours went to the hosp fully dialated, and had the baby within 40 mins, even had stitches without any drugs. or even gas and air. I def believe in hypnobirthng, its about visualisation of your contractions and controlling your breathing, good luck hon and believe in yourself xx

that really helps me as I totally get the concept-just not sure I can follow it through! I have a book and a CD to help me as well so will make sure I start to listen to that.
