Hi
Was just wondering up to what age you should use non- biological washing powder for your lo's clothes?

Just atm im waiting for my washing machine to be fitted and my mum has to do my washing for me and admitted the other day that she used normal washing powder to wash Lea's clothes as she had ran out of fairy!
Lea's skin has been fine but when i get my washing machine back, dont know if it's best to buy biological or non bio! Sorry for the strange question lol xx

we stopped using non bio on chloe's bits when she was about 6mths old. only cos we ran out one time and used bio and she was fine with it so just carried on using the same as for ours. saves money too not buying two lots and gets more stains out!

We've always used bio with no problems, Gabe does have sensitive skin but he seems more bothered by certain brands of bath stuff then washing powder as it's made no difference when we've used non bio. xx

I've always used bio as non bio doesn't seem to clean well enough. None of us have sensitive skin though so that helped!

I always use non-bio as bio makes mine & OH's skin itch. I use supermarket own brands though.
I agree it doesn't get the stains out though but got free big tub of Vanish with internet shopping a few weeks back (they must have put it in wrong case lol!)

We changed gradually from about 6 months - doing things that weren't right next to Cally's skin in bio first. Now she is 8 months and all her stuff is washed with ours in bio - it is much easier, and gives a better wash.

Going slightly o/t but still on the topic of stains......our carpet had quite a few milk stains on it plus a few other slight ones done by our dd. So I bought some Vanish powerfoam and sprayed it all over our carpet today. Left it for 2 hours then hoovered, and the carpet looked liked new! I then used some Oz power carpet cleaner to get up stubborn stains as it's fab then hoovered again. Now our carpet looks brand new! Need to do our bedroom carpet now as there are some persistent stains on there from madam.
