Hi ladies,

Does anyone else here feel just fat sometimes? I look down whilst standing and feel like Ive just put weight on. When I sit down I see the bump and it's like looking at someone else's belly. I got so big with my first child that I suppose I just expected to be bigger already haha.

I'm with you. Some days I feel pregnant and then others I just feel like a big fat bloater. I saw someone yesterday who I hadn't seen for a while and when I told her I was 18 weeks she looked at me and said 'hmmm, you're hiding it well'. I'm sure she meant it kindly but it just confirmed to me that I'm not looking pregnant, just bigger than normal. Sigh.

I know what u mean my oh keeps saying u look preg cos u are but I find myself touching my stomach alot in public just incase hahaha xjx

girls i'm the same. Some days I look proper pregnant and some days I look like a flabby mess! We are going to meet some friends soon and I really want tummy to harden up so it's look pregnant and not fat! xxx

so with you on this one! some days i feel pregnant others i just feel like i have put on weight and need to so on a diet!!!!!

Although a lot of people we dont see very often are guessing we are pregnant before we are telling them, they say they could tell my the shape of my belly that it was just not fatness!

feel like both! no strangers have asked me yet when i'm due, so I guess they just think i'm fat! he he so when I'm out and about I keep strocking my belly! x

I'm so glad you put this post on Smoochiegal. I spend most days just feeling fat, occasionally I think I look pregnant but I think I'm just trying to convince myself. I'm 16+5 now and started looking 'fatter than normal' about 3 or 4 weeks ago and I just don't feel like I've developed. I've got a doppler so I'm on that all the time making sure our little baby is still in there which it is! But I just want to look pregnant instead of feeling like a fraud everytime I go in Mothercare! Its driving me mad. The baby is still really, really low down as well when I go on the doppler, when am I actually going to look pregnant??!!!

oh i have felt like this........ you go through horrible stage when you just look and feel fat and you drasm of the day you have a hard bump!!! i'm 19 weeks tomoz and just this week seem to have more of a proper bump - i have found wearing fitted vest tops is actually better as you look blatantly pregnant them rather than these floaty type tops then i look like im hidding a fat tummy!!!

Really agree with this one ! LOL I have worked out that small women - 8-10 normally get nice bumps at this stage and LOOK pregnant, whereas larger women like myself who were 16-18 before hand just look fatter !!!!!! I look pregnant late in day but just fat other times !! LOL Can't wait to look preggers as I definitely feel it - really weird feeling yesterday when it felt like my tummy was stretching badly ! S XX

If I look in a mirror with no clothes on I can see my belly starting to stick out just in the middle, but with clothes on I feel people are looking at me as if I've eaten too many pies

Hope it gets better as I am a bridesmaid in two weeks!

oh im 15 weeks and look 7 months lol this is my 3rd and there is no mistaking it it is a huge bump x

ive actully woke up this morning feeling and looking quite pregnant woop woop!
my belly is atarting to take proper shape now and even had to move the buttons on my mat jeans this morning just all sudden had a huge growth spurt!
