Subject : Full length maternity 'tents' dresses

I am going to a wedding in a few weeks when I will be 35 weeks preggers.........now I am getting swollen ankles so think maybe a full length.....BUT I hate the way they go out at the bump but then dont go back in again making you look huge the whole way down, I always feel like holding myself under the bump to show shape.....anyone else feel this?
However the shorter dress I like might highlight the elephant ankles.......ummmmm what to do what to do.....

28 today x

I love the bow under bust dresses that are around ATM but know what you mean about the dresses going right down and I'd imagine at 30wk plus it's a killer, could you not get a 2piece of some sort letting your skirt fall down and your top doing some bump defining :) don't know if debenhams still has a sale on but they've so many dresses you might find the perfect style there

Have you tried the a full length dress on yet ?
I know what you mean as i was thinking same that they would look a bit shapeless but i tired one in New look last week and it actually looked ok,
I found the cotton ones were better than the polyester ones. But thats what suited me.
Wrap dresses look lovely on bumps but not so good on puffy ankles.
I am on a hen night ( day ) next saturday at York races and am wearing a shortish topshop maternity dress but putting some leggings with it as my pregnant legs are not up to anything else.

Hope you find something soon cos its a trawling round shops and trying on when your heavily pregnant. I did two shopping centers last week with my twenty month old son and my eight month bump. Right laugh
