I want a dna done on my daughter to see if a 1 night stand is her day the only problem is he wont reply to any messages i leave him. He started of great he said that he was her dad but got bored after all his friends had seen her how can i get the dna done? I need to no for the sake of my daughter. Can i make him? Will i need to take it to court? Please help i really dont no what to do. X x

I believe you will need to take him to court if he won't have it done willingly.

Speak to the citizens advice bureau as they will know almost everything. Try having a look on their website http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ and see what that says.

Im assuming that you would be able to take him to court hun as you have a right to find out.
CAB are great for advice like whale mummy said so worth a go and good luck xx

I dont really know much about it but i wouldnt think you would be able to get a court order to get dna taken forcefully in a criminal investigation. I dont believe that they will issue an order for his dna to establish paternity. It will be seen as a violation of his human rights to forcefully take his dna when, in the eyes of the law, he has done nothing wrong.

mmm does he pay maintenance? if he doesnt get in touch with csa who can ask him to prove paternity and pay for your little one he doesnt hve to agree but if he doesnt agree they will automatically make him pay for the child xx

you can take him court its not only in a criminal investigation contact csa or citizens advice. x
