well the wait is over, I got my smiley face today on my Ov stick...CD 18! Im going to have a busy weekend of BD...wahoo...hope the weather cools down

When do I count 1dpo, from tomorrow or Sunday?
I got my smiley this morning and just did another to check it hadnt passed today whilst at work and its still smiling back at me

Hi Sharmy, did you get your smiley from your FMU? I'm cd17 today and going to start testing mine tomorrow and I just wanted to check that using FMU is defo ok for ovulation with the clear blue sticks?

Hello Tink-a-belle,

I was using FMU, I started on Monday (after my cbfm broke) and it picked it up this morning. I was worried I may have Ov super early and today whilst I was at work (TTC makes us women mad) so tested again when I got home just to check and it was still smiling at me!

So in answer to your question FMU is fine especially since it will be really concentrated.

Okay so got Smiley yesterday, BD last night and this morning, will try and go again tonight if it isnt too hot! :D
And hopefully tomorrow just for good measure...... that should cover it!

Do any of you know what day i count as 1dpo today or tomorrow?
The OPK instructions say you OV within 12-36 hours of the and I got it yesterday morning.

I got my smiley this morning!!! :) cd19, so we are almost cycle buddies Sharmy. I'm so happy,I've spent the past few weeks convincing myself that I don't ovulate.

I'm annoyed though because we were trying SMEP and were meant to BD last night but went out for a meal and were then too hot/full/tired to BD so I said we'd do it this morning instead and then got my smiley. So now I don't know when to BD next, tonight or tomorrow eveing or both. Any ideas?

Yay for the

I wouldn't worry about not BD last night. They say you ovulate approx 12-36 hours from your smiley so your covered if you did the deed this morning as the sperm lives for 2/3 days (i think)

I got my Smiley on Friday morning but was unable to BD until that evening (and it was late by the time we got down to business) and then again Saturday morning and then this morning (we too were out last night and shattered). I hope we have done enough although im now panicking that we didnt do it sooner on Friday but Que Sera what will be will be!

I'm on CD20 now and not sure what day to call 1dpo, yesterday or today. Do you know?

Its great having a cycle buddy, we can share our symptoms although im telling myself not too!!

No I have no idea, I would guess it would be the day after the smiley? I sometimes get ov pains so I would count that as day one but if I don't feel it this month I'll go by tomorrow, I also track my BBT and that tells you after ov so that should help me pin point it.

I've promised myself not to SS or POAS early, I don't know how easy that promise will be to keep :)

Thanks Tink, I think your right and will go with your thought process and count OV as yesterday (although im sure I was having pain Friday) and count today as 1dpo....oh I dont know Im sure a day or 2 out wont make a big difference. Im either 1dpo or 2dpo today :)

Im with you on the non SS and POAS although im sure come 7dpo I will be googling all sorts!

I think if it was me, I would probably BD again tonight if I could (although wouldn't be all over if you didnt) and then tomorrow too just for good measure!

I think a couple of the girls are doing the SMEP so may be in better position to know.

Hi Ladies, sorry to crash in on you but I got my smiley face this morning (CD12) and am also doing SMEP this month. I don't know if this helps but I always use FMU and on smiley face days we BD in the morning and at night and then do the rest of the SMEP which is to BD for another two nights after, leave it for a night and then have one more try.
