scans!!

Hi Claire - you dont need to see your gp before booking in to the hospital as you can self-refer. My gp is absolutely useless, which we found out first time round but sadly mc'd. So second time round we just went straight to the hospital and booked all our appointments. You should still be able to get a 12 wk scan. So have a look into the hospitals around you, choose one, and start the process. Make an appt with your gp when you can next get one at a convenient time and then go see them so that they can manage your care. You will are most likely to only get 1 more scan after the 12 wk one (ie at 20 wks) and then that's it!! So your gp should check up on you til the end in between midwife appts. Hope all goes well for you x
