Some advice needed please girls! Were on our first 'proper' cycle ttc after mc and then 1st af. Cos cycle after mc was 33 days rather than my usual 28 days, I thought it would be a good idea to do ov peesticks so I could have a better idea of when I ov this month - and some vague idea of when to expect af.

So, if I'd gone back to 28d cycle, I should ov btw Sat 27 Jun and Thurs 2 Jul. So, I started poas on Mon, and got a faint positive line, so think must be start of ov and line would get darker as week goes on....but nothings happened since! All sticks have been neg (which is just as well really as OH away all week!).

Does this mean that actually I ov at the end of last week i.e. ov early, or that I ov on Sat and that's what the line was or what?!?! Am very confused - help from some ov poas girls would be much appreciated!

Oh - if it helps, I'm fairly sure I had ewcm at the weekend too, but now wonder whether I just think I did because of that faint pos line? xx

I would guess it means that your OPK caught the end of your LH surge, I think you tend to ov 24-48 hours after your +ve OPK so I'm guessing that would have been Sat or Sun, therefore you probably ov'd on Sunday or on Monday. On the other hand, you can get faint lines on OPK all time, but if you only one once I would guess it is not the case for you. Hopefully that would mean you are back to your normal 28 day cycle too!

I thought that might be what happened, which is actually good, as we bd every night last weekend knowing OH was away this week, so fingers crossed for this month.

So I can now consider myself 2ww - hoorah! Symptom spotting here I come! xx
