Subject : Brekkie cereals - need some ideas pls!

I am going to start moving SKye over from the baby cereals to adult ones shortly.

I know that Ready Brek, Weetabix and porridge are some possibilities, but have you girls found/used any others?
I suppose for convenience I'm looking to just buy a box of something really!

Ready Brek sounds more like a wintery brekkie, and not sure about giving her Weetabix yet due to my severe wheat intolerance and wheat allegries in the family.

Short of baby rice with fruit purees I can't think what else to give, except fromage frais/yoghurts?? And then I'll run out of pudding options for lunch/tea!

She's not ready to chew and swallow yet, she plays mainly plays with fruit/bread, sucks it and eventually spits most of it out, so not really an option or she'll starve!! WhateeeEver!

Any idea gratefully received!!

Ta for that Karen. I bought some Oatibix this evening when I did the food shop, so I'll see how we go! x

Abby loves Oatibix - she has a whole one every morning with milk and fruit. Not that I get to see it - my mum has the packet of Oatibix.

I give Abby Ready Brek at the weekend. I make it and let it cool down in this weather and once again serve it with fruit.

H xx

Keeping an eye on this thread as besides Weetabix, Oatibix & porridge (with and without fruit) I'm a bit stumped for ideas too.
