Mine were 1:15,000 from the blood test and i think the babies neck measurement were 1.4mm for twin 1 and 1.6mm for twin 2.

they should make it mandatory in every hospital

Hi Charlotte, double check with your midwife - i was told by my GP we were not getting it, but midwife said they changed the rules earlier this year and we are now entitled to it on NHS
I had my scan yesterday and still waiting for the blood results

wannababy i think thats the main reason i didnt bother with them, i am 25 so in theory should be low risk, i didnt want to be worrying about the results and as i would never have an amnio due to the risks involved i wouldnt have a clear answer till the birth, i didnt think it was worth the worry, what has you MW said?

i havent spoken to midwife about it. Im not overly worried and like you I wouldnt have further testing I do think it may be because the NT was 2.1mm at 12 +1. it 100% would not bother me if my baby did have downs i was just curious of how they give different percentage to people of same age, lol.
what will be will be xx Happy

Honey if it helps this time i got 1:15,000 and am 24, but when i had DD1 i was 20 and got 1:500!!!

Its all odds really and not for definate, just think of it as you have 1255 chances of giving birth and having a "normal baby" and 1 chance of having baby with downs thats not a lot at all.

If your really worried speak to you MW.
