So we went for our 20 week scan yesterday which was wonderful. Everything is as it should be. All measurements are fine (if on the small side of normal but thats ok), heart pumping nicely with all chambers clear to see, brain in the right place, spine great and placenta and umbilical cord all right where they should be.
Only problem was that baby would not let us see its privates....so still no idea if its a boy or girl. At 14 weeks we had a scan and baby stayed turned away from us whole time and then yesterday it had its legs crossed and bent in such a way as to make it impossible to see anything in that area. The sonographer moved me around and we tried to push on my belly to encourage baby to move and show us...but...noooo.
Sonographer actually laughed and said that this was one of the least cooperative babies she'd seen in ages and clearly wanted mum and dad to have a surprise. Everyone else that morning didn't want to know and it was obvious. We walked in wanting to know and nothing. Oh well!

I have been booked in for another scan at 28 weeks to check growth, so we may see then.

Until then i still have a neutral bump....although i am convinced its a boy...only boys would be that naughty. LOL!

Dont you just love them, funny how they have their own little personalities already.
Im so pleased my boy had his legs wide open so no mistaking what he was.....really hope you manage to find out at next scan hun, maybe baby will actually stick his or her fingers up at you next time hehehehe

Oh MJ its a shame that you didnt get to see! Its only 7weeks ish though still your next scan and im sure baby will let you have a peek then!!!

lol.... Keep it a suprise, I did with my boy and it was great telling everyone what I had when I gave birth to him (or find out yourself but don't tell anyone else! Be naughty like your little one!) lol............. And I think little girls are more naughty!!! U never know, there could be a little madam in there !!! All the best xxx
