Subject : Should I go to the doctor?

I came of the mini pill at the start of May, had AF 4 weeks after that, then another 2 weeks after that.
I'm now on CD14 and I seem to be bleeding AGAIN!!!! Surely that can't be right???
How am I ever going to get pregnant if I have AF every 2 weeks??

Sometimes it can take a while for your periods to return to normal after the pill. Go to you GP if it will put your mind at rest, they might be able to give you something to help.

Have you tried taking Agnus Cactus? I've heard it's good xxx

A visit to the GP might put your mind at rest and stop you worryng. It can take time for things to get back to normal afer the pill, but its always worth chatting to your GP if you are anxious

Thanks. I guess it is early days. I was just so shocked this morning. If anything, i'd worried about having to wait ages for AF after coming off the pill, I really wasn't expecting it 3 times in 6 weeks!!!
This doesn't seem like normal AF so far though - no cramps or mood swings like I usually experience in the run up to it. Wish I knew what my body was up to.

my friend is having the same probs as you at the mo, with frequent AF's after stopping pill. I've heard lots of quotes about 'it takes up to a year before cycle gets back to normal after stopping pill'. Go to GP if you need to for your concerns but I'm pretty sure they'll just tell you to wait and see a bit longer! sorry for being blunt but that's what I think you'll hear.
Just wish we were informed how much the CP messes things up before we went on it!

You're right, that's exactly what the doc will say.
I'm just going to wait it out another few months and see what happens.

It's probably a really good sign that you body is responding to the changes in the hormone levels and your ovaries have at least woken up!! most people (incl me) wait ages for even one AF after stopping the pill as probably my body forgot what it was meant to do it had been a while!!

Good luck with things. x
