hi everyone went for colposcopy appointment yesterday and their not too worried i dont need treatment yet their just going to monitor me at 6mnth intervals. took 2 biopsys and i get the results in about a mnth. so if they come back ok we can start trying. not sure exactly when yet but definately before jan might be august after we get back from hols or sept when pill runs out but i took my first folic acid today so feel like im actually getting somewhere.

Thats great news chick, I too am not trying yet but have came off the pill and am going to start taking pregnacare vitamins it says you should take them before, during and after pregnancy x

hi mrsbrown i have been taking a multi vit since jan bought on offer in boots and got loads left but it only contains 200mg of folic acid so iv started taking folic acid aswell checked with pharmacist and she said it was ok as its a water soluble vitamin i think they recommend taking folic acid 3 mnths before TTC once iv used all these vitamins il change to pregnacare does anyone know what the difference is between pregnacare original and the one for TTC only had a quick look in chemist today but both say before during and after wasnt sure if the TTC one had any extra bits to help you concieve.

Hi toria am not sure to be honest I got mine free with a purchase in superdrug.

I am off the pill now so I should really start taking it my friend told me but apparently it makes you feel sick aswell, I am totally clueless just got married 30th May and am now on the babywagon but h2b says at least 6 -8 months before we start trying. It doesnt seem that far away actually as its only 5 1/2 month till xmas! :-) x

itll go really quickly. if you read some of my other posts youll see we have been putting TTC on hold since last July. i really really wanted to start in jan this year but couldnt and thought we would be waiting till jan next year however we may now be able to start in aug or sept so im jumping for joy lol. theres a thread on here somewhere for countdowns i find it helps me putting timescales on things il see if i can find it and bump it for you. good luck

Thank you very much am getting loads of advice already, is there a thread for things you need to buy I know am jumping the gun but if I can have an idea of what we need might help with an indication of when we can start ttc at first hubs said 6-8 month then we compromised on 6 month but I really wanted to be pregnant on xmas day and tell everyone not that thats going to happen now lol x

you never know lol im secretly hoping to be preg in jan because me and OH both have oct bdays so would be lovely to have baby then but not sure i can plan it that precisely lol. there is a thread somewhere what you need is not very much and quite cheap what you want on the other hand is a whole different thing.
