Subject : O/T How much is to much for a mobile phone??

As it is my 23 this sat (v stressed about that fact lol LOL! ) I have asked OH for money so i can get a new mobile phone. I am so into my gadgets ect that the one i love is about £110. I have been after this mobile for a long tme (before Christmas) and it has come down alot but OH says if i get it he wont talk to me again as i will only want a new one in a few months. That did use to be me but since we started TTC i havnt been treating myself and it is my birthday. What do you all think? Am I being sill and a phone is only a phone?? Help lol. XX

I'm sorry but I think a phone is just a phone and I wouldn't bother. If you phone contract has expired then you could try and get the handset you like on a free upgade?

If you really want it then you should get it but your OH doesn't want to buy if for you so if it were me, I would ask my oh to get me something else and buy the phone separately. That way everyone is happy.

Hi, gatecrashing from bereavment and planning a baby( although I am now officialy ttc) :-) just wanted to say that a few months ago me and my partner were in the same situation, except he was the one that wanted the expensive phone for his birthday - the i phone. Well after alot off batiling and some saving- he got it. And Im so glad he did. I spent just about as much time on it as him, infact I am on it now. Yes it's alot of money to spent on a 'phone' but I don't see it as just a phone. There's so much to do on it. Obviously I don't know which phone you want but it must be a 'special' one at that price...

I would say if you can afford it- get it, I'm sure your oh will have a few sneaky shots on it anyway. Goodluck ;-) x
