Subject : Short LP anyone??

Hi Girls,

I've been tracking my cycles for the 6 months or so and I've realised my LP is around 9 days 10 days max. I'm ov cd18 of a 27 day cycle. It's made me really down - it feels as if it were a fluke gettting pg beforehand.

Does anyone have short LPs and what are you doing to increase it ?

Thanks

xx

Hi Shelley, I have got the Zita West book and she says that 9 or over is normal. If you are recording LP's lower than that it may be worth having a quick chat to your gp, even if its just to put your mind at rest.

Wif, the Luteal Phase is the time period beginning with the day after ovulation and running through the remainder of your cycle (it ends the day before your next period).

Oh thanks Lottie & Neve - was getting a bit worried. Just been doing some reading and think I'm going to try Vit B6 for a bit. I did try for one cycle before but I had lots of spotting but no harm done if it works ;)

You're welcome, sometimes I think this would all be much easier if all we knew was that we had to have sex and didn't analyse our whole cycle, but I do it myself every month!

I had a 9 day LP after my mmc and got myself into a right state so my sister lent me her books to keep me quiet lol.
