Subject : Hi AGAIN GIRLS . i AM FELLING LOW!!!
Hi girls.
As the title says I am feeling really low tonight. Been to docs and she confirmed what the receptionist said the other day that all hormones came back normal!! so wht the hell are my cycles so bloody irregular and currently on cd18 and no sign of ovulation - still reading low on cbfm!!!! into month 11 now and its starting to get me down!!!! doc has referred me but says it could be 3-4 months coz I am young etc and said to contiue to lose weight!!! I asked her if she could give me something to try and regulate my periods and she said no I would have to wait to see consultant!!!
sorry for the moan and rant but needed to write it down - been crying quite a bit!!!

Hiya Rache, I know how you feel chick and know we've chatted in TTC about this before. I came off the pill over 10 months ago and have only had 2 AFs. I'm going for a lap and dye in 2 weeks tho to see if any of my tubes are blocked and I have a feeling they will be as had PID twice. How old are you? I'm 29 and only had to wait a couple of months I think for my first appt. but I suppose it depends on the area.
I was told that it could just be normal for my body to have long cycles so maybe that's the same for you hun x

How long are your periods?? My firend had one every 7-8 weeks, makes it harder to pinpoint ov but she does have 2 kids now.

Aw Rache it must be something in the air. I know exactly how you are feeling. My best friend came to see me last night for some advice as she has just found out she is pg with a guy she has only just started seeing. Im cross with her as she wasnt using contraception as the pill gives her mood swings and now she doesnt know what to do with herself, she has on the other hand wanted a baby for ages but been waiting for mr right. Its just so unfair when im sat here happily married waiting for my bambino and have been for 10 months :(
Hope you start to feel better soon chick, try and keep your chin up and conentrate on your brilliant wieght lose until you get your appoinment for consultant xx

rachie you must be so frustrated if you cycles get longer and longer I would go back to the drs and kick up a bit of a fuss that usually gets some one to listen, also if you bd about 3 times a week you should cover all your basis, or if your really keen every day!!! ALthough your cycle of 94 night be a topugh to keep up with!!!
really hope you get sorted soon xx
** If you ahve been trying for a year chick I would go and see your dr, not at all implying that there is anything at all wrong as you are still within 'normal parametres' but prob doesn;t feel like that to you, however once you have been trying for a year you can go to the drs and start the testing process although hopefully in teh meatime you will fall naturally.
Aw loobylou - gggrrr for you how frustrating must be awful as I have been in that situation myself and your like why the hell cant it be me :( really hope it will be you soon chick xxxx

Hi
I had r-e-a-l-l-y irregular cycles, and like you, all my hormone tests came back fine. I also had an internal scan which showed that although I had some cysts on my ovaries, they were not bad enough for me to be classified as having PCOS.
I used ovulation sticks religiously and never got a (+) line, despite going on to get my period (eventually!)
Anyway...
I got fed up of waiting for Drs to take me seriously, so did a bit of research and went for an accupuncture session. I ovulated and conceived four days later!
Now it might have been a total fluke, but it's maybe worth thinking about? Even if it does not work straight away then accupuncture is meant to be good for regulating cycles. I've also heard that reflexology can work too.
Wishing you lots of luck
xxx
PS - my hubby says accupuncture worked for me because I am really suggestible and was convinced it *would* work! Still - I'm not comlpaining now...

Dear rache1983,
Glad you are feeling a bit better.
I too can recommend accupuncture. I got pregnant very quickly following my first miscarriage (I'd taken 10 long, hard months to conceive the first time!)and will book myself in again when I'm ready (I recently lost another baby at 22+5 and feel like I have been to hell and back). I found accupuncture very therapeutic too.
I also recommend having a good diet which you are probably already doing - lots of fruit (I feel like bananas might have helped - bonkers, I know!) and veg, water, wholegrains not white carbs, nuts. Cut back on caffeine and alcohol but don't beat yourself up if you need a treat either. That said we went on holiday with another couple this year. She drank nothing but coffee and diet coke for 2 weeks and came back pregnant. I couldn't beleive it as I avoid those things when TTC and to be honest it made me feel jealous that some people do all this and get pregnant.
Whilst you don't know when you will OV you can BD at every opportunity! I stuck my legs in the air for 10 minutes after too before I got pregnant. Good luck, I'm sure that BFP will happen soon.

Hey Rach sorry to see you have been feeling a bit down. It's such an emotional rollercoaster some days isn't it.
Fab news with the dieting though that must be inspiring you to push on and I've read lots of people have had good results with acupuncture so still plenty of avenues to explore yet lovey.
Good Luck x
