Hi Sara,

I'm really sorry for your losses, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Last year I had 3 mc's between April and December. I'm now 24+5 and pregnancy is going well (touch wood and fingers crossed).

I too thought that it would just keep happening but luckily for me the really worrying stages have long passed and I'm enjoying being pregnant.

Fingers crossed that it'll happen again soon for you and that you'll have a super dooper sticky bean.

Jaimep xx:\)

Hi sara,
Sorry to hear about your recent MC and your two previously. I had my first MMC found at dating scan in Oct 09, then another MMC in Feb this yr. Thought we had managed it that time as a scan at 8+5 showed a perfectly heathy, active bean only to loose her 10 days later. We went private for our second ERPC and paid for tests and histology as I was petrified of getting pregnant again with out some answers. Everyone had assured me everything would be fine the 2nd time. So I can understand why you are worried to get pregnant again.
I was advised to take aspirin when I got my BFP but to just try again. I am pleased to say I am currently 13+6 and everything so far (touch wood) appears fine. There was a few wobbles at the beginning when they told me at 4 weeks my progesterone was too low to concieve let alone be pregnant and be prepared for another MC. But as the weeks have passed and 4 scans later bean seems fine.
I am still really apprehensive but are keeping our fingers crossed. This will be our first baby.
It is a personal thing whether/when you try again as I guess there are no guarantees. But the desire to have our own baby is stronger than the fear at the moment. Saying that, if we loose this one, I will need to take a break. It does take its toll on you both physically and emotionally.
Hope that helps hun.

Hello hun, I remember not that many months ago thinking exactly the same thing and scared that it would never happen. I had 3 mcs in a row, 1 actual and two mmcs diagnosed and 10 week and 8 week scans. I don't have any children yet and I though it might not be possible for me to carry a baby to term. But here I am 33 weeks tomorrow! It will happen and take heart from the fact it has happened for you 4 times already. it's heartbreaking and so stressful but keep positive, where there's a will....! Good luck hope to see you post your BFP very soon. xxxx

I am in the same situation, first mc was very early and probably wasn't actually pg but I went on to have another 2 early mc at 7 and 9 weeks (babes were gone long before in each case).
Yesterday I had my 20 week scan and have a healthy normal baby - so good the consultant says I don't need to see him again and can go to MW led care. It is possible to have healthy pregnancies after mc and I'm sure the next one will be your time!

I have had 2 previous mc;'s and am now 31 weeks. You've had children before so you know your body can do it. Stay positive.

xx
