Hi love, how are u all?
Yes i am dissolvable ones, Kathryn the plastics came and stitched me up she always uses them as they minimise scaring. Are they going through your old scar?
Say to Michael that you want dissolvable and write in your birth plan but i am sure they will.xxx

My big one is that as i have to have elective i really want it on a friday as it would be so much better for the boys but think they only do electives on monday do you know if thats true?
Regards going through old scar im not sure. they did last time but will ask if they go through it for a third time uggghhhh the whole thought of it makes me sick lol

I think electives are monday and wednesday mornings but they do some on friday afternoons-occassionally(well they did when i was in with ru)
Though it does depend who is on rota as some dont like to cause of the staff reduction at the weekend.
Will this be the first time u have to see him? i am putting it off as long as poss lol.
Whats your edd date?
Did u find it more painful thru one scar?
i cannot decide what i want next time.xxx
i may well see u at some point, lol.x

Was meant to see him at 12 weeks but couldnt make it so now will be 21 weeks when i see him, really gonna plead my case re friday section but i know its difficult as i have really bad adhesions so it has to be a consultant doing the section.
My section with DS3 was so much better than the first. With the twins it was a proper em sec and wound was bigger to get both out quick, with 2nd section although classed as em (id had a long labour and was loosing blood) it was much more controled so i dont know if that help as i got over it a lot quicker. am bit worried this time as want to be sterilised and apparantly that can make it all a bit more sore.
When are you meant to be seeing him? do you think he will encourage you to be sterilised? Its a really difficult choice wheter or not to have a section or not. Does OC increase the chance of you needing a section?
How is your OC?

oh and my EDD is 4th dec so im guessing sometime in end of Nov i should have section. x

OOOO cool so not that long honey,i am sure he will try to help as much as he can. Usually pretty good with that kind of thing.
I havent even booked in with my midwife yet-lol. leaving it as long as possible because i am scared of the lecture tbh but i know i have to face it.
Especially as the itching is back already. . . .not too bad yet but def worse.
I think i will have to see him around 16 weeks?!?!?
He was keen to sterilse me before BUT i am hoping if this pregnancy is better he may be less inclined to want to. Though if i get oc he is eager to induce asap(unfortunatly around 28 weeks) obviously depends on severity.

sorry to butt in but just wanted to mention with my em cs i had staples, with MJs elective i had disolvable stitches, and i recovered better from the staples (well the scar did) than the stitches... the staples were taken out at 7 days after the birth.
re sterilisation - i wouldnt say it makes it more sore but it does mean longer on the table and as you already know you have a lot of adhesions it will be difficult - MJs cs i was open on the table for an hour and a half, it took them 30 mins to get her out, then an hour ish to get to my tubes and snip them, before they could start to close up (I'm not counting the closing up time when i say an hour and a half btw) and i lost nearly a litre of blood.
The recovery from the cs was good, but there were all sorts of problems due to my womb sticking to the adhesions and not reducing down like it should have done - at 4 weeks post birth apparently it should be almost back to normal, but mine was still '4months' pregnant... if you know what i mean....?
they wont go through your original scar, they will use a different one i think - they did with me because they didnt want to use it too much due to the build up of scar tissue...
anyhoo, am rambling now....
Hope everything goes well for you all and you get what you want
