Subject : TTC when your body is mis-behaving!

Just come back of a lovely holiday full of PMA and feeling the happiest I have done since my MMC in March. BUT, my body has decided to mess with me and now I am confused. Since MMC I have had 2 AF's both with cycles of around 42 days. Before MMC I was always regular with cycles of about 32 days, but thought my body is probably sorting itself out.

Felt pretty sure I OV'd on holiday - all the usual symptoms and would have been around calander day 16, so about right. But today I started to get some brown spotting! Got a bit excited thinking it might be an implantation bleed, but it looks like it is the start of my period on CD20!! WTF! So now I am confused. This would mean I OV'd pretty much on CD6 if at all. I'm also thinking what if it is an early MC. Also, I had a cervical Polyp in October last year which was removed, but I am worried it has come back and the brown spotting could be a sign of that again. I will now worry all weekend about it and be pissed off at my body for not behaving how it should. ARGGGHHHHH. I sometimes think this TTC makes me too intune with my body and then when something strange happens I freak out. I just wish I could get back to normal. Have any of you girls had similar experiences of your cycles taking a while to get back to a normal. Makes it really hard TTC when you have no idea when you are OVing. Might invest in a CBFM.

Too top it all off, went to visit DH friend today and his week old baby girl. She was soooooo cute that it just made me want one even more:-( Sorry for my confusing ramblings, just needed to get it off my chest.

Hi there,

I totally understand. I lost my Little one in March and had two normal 28d cycles but then this month i was 4d early, could not understand it. I always know when i ov, the signs are really clear but now not sure what days to look out for.

I am watching this month how long the cycle is and will take it from there, thats all we can do. Take one month at a time and i understand how u feel when seeing other babies. It is still too difficult for me.

Keep positive and keep talking

Take care
Sam

My AF seems to be all over the place as well. The only experience I have is when I had my mc when I think (not sure) I started having spotting about 5 DPO. Sorry I can't be more help, hope it sorts itself out soon, xxx

Thanks girls. I am trying to be more rational about it now and tell myself that my body needs time to recover, and when it is ready to have a baby it will be ready and there is nothing I can do in the meantime to change that. One thing the MMC has taught me is that nature has it's own way of doing things, and nothing I do can change that.

Anyway, the brown spotting remained brown spotting and has now stopped (so three days). I still remain hoepful that it may have been impantation bleeding as the timing would be about right, and as we were on hol I was very relaxed and getting in loads of BDing.....But I don't want to get my hopes up. Would be just my luck that I was OVing during the spotting and so missed my chance this month. Roll on the end of this month when I can test and find out one way or the other.
