sorry i know its been asked before but I need help!

Reuben is 4 & 1/2 months old & he cut his first two teeth last week & the last few days he has started biting when I feed him - please can anyone give me any advise on what to do

No personal experience, but from what I understand you are supposed to latch them off and tell them 'No!' very firmly before latching them back on again. It may take a few goes, but apparently they understand even at that age.

Have to admit, I am dreading the arrival of Peter's teeth for exactly this reason!

Hope you find a solution soon.

ouch! i've also heard that pushing their face into the breast makes them let go cos they cant breathe (sounds cruel, but just meant to get them to let go) and then put them down on your lap and dont look at them. then put them back on, keep repeating everytime they bite. good luck, i remember this with dd1 and it was horrible. i gave up fairly soon at 6 months as she kept doing it and i couldnt bear it!

hiya hun i know just how that feels lol iam still feeding my little gil whos 16 months so she has a full set of teeth lol and yes she sometimes bites and yes it hurts very much with a couple of extra teeth in there lmao but wen i say no she thinks its funny lol but wen she first started doing it wen she was about you lilittle ones age i asked mw some advise and she said to take baby off and say no firmily as the other lady said but i have to say it dident realy work lol but theye soon stop doing it and you get used to it i have lol hore you little one stops doing it soon xxxxxx:\)Smile
