Oh I'm so sorry you're feeling like this but you are not a bad mother and your daughter loves you. I'm afraid I know nothing about agraphobia but I would imagine it takes a lot of effort to get out, do you have a friend or family member close by who could help you out, does it make a difference you going out ok your own or with someone? It's not a long term solution but you need food in the house could you maybe start doing that as online shopping? I'm sorry I don't think im much help just didn't want to ignore your message and tell you not to question your ability as a mother just because you're having a bad day. Take care

(((((((big hugs))))))) my thoughts are with you xxx You aren't a bad Mum, you just have some problems at the moment. Is there anyone you can talk to, do you get help for your agrophobia? xxx

You are not a bad mum but you do need to get help and I know its hard to get through this but some anti anxiety medication and a good therapist can help you to minimise the stress you feel when you go out. You sound like you love your daughter so much and I say if you do then for her sake get some help. You will never be cured but you will learn how to manage your problem and thats what you need. Have you tried taking baby steps and just going a few steps outside and taking a step or two further each day? I know it might be utterly terrifying for you but it could be a start to a brighter future for you. Your daughter is nearly three and it does not hurt to let her know you are not perfect. If you can explain your condition in terms she can understand then maybe she will be more help to you than you could ever realise. Children can be so understanding and healing at this age because they are not old enough yet to form judgements. I hope what I have said to you helps and you find a way to manage your condition.
