Subject : Hello and any updates....
Hi ladies,
It seems very quiet on here lately, just wondering if we had any updates....
here's mine...
after a long wait AF showed up after 50 days....at one point felt I was pregnant, felt really awful, did 3 pg test and got a PFN.
Anyway back to the start again, not sure how long this cycle will be, as I was always 29/30 days before, so fingers crossed it goes back to that.
So fingers crossed for you all and enjoy the sunny weekend.
Lots of love

Hi Dinky and Roisine, how are you both doing? Dinky, did you do anything to get af back or did it come of its own accord? I am on day 122 and pretty fed up but then i am 48 so my chances are so slim anyway. I'll keep trying until mother nature tells me i have gone through menopause or i reach 49 + 3 months because i dont want to be giving birth after 50. That leaves me with 12 months or less if my af doesnt show up by February!!!!
Good luck everyone, hope we all get bfps soon :-)
lots of love, bluebird xxxx

Hi Ladies,
well you just wouldn't believe it....after a really odd time and having a cycle of 50 days, AF showed up, not that it was a long one....anyway been busy with DH trying not to get hung up on charting and temp taking etc etc
did a test last Wednesday as my boobs were so sore, tummy ache, guess what I got a BFP!!!!!
It is very early days and today I am 5 weeks, but I waited till fathers day to tell my other half, he was so shocked and so am I.
We haven't told anybody else yet, which is also so hard, want to tell friends and family but it does seems very early to me, also besides sore boobs, feel ok, a little tried on a night but I always feel tired on a night.
Fingers crossed.
The next thing is next week I am going on a boozy hen weekend to see take that, to the theatre and lots of other things, so I think I will have to tell those ladies, but I will have to ask them to keep it really quiet, don't really want to tell my son just yet as I do have a long way to go yet.
Really please but I think still a little shocked.
Hope you are both ok and fingers crossed for you ladies.
Best wishes
D X

Hi Roisine, any news? Did af get you or are you now pg? Realy hope that you are hun.
Thanks HMVDB, you are so kind. I have been really determined but it seems all in vain now. I lost my little bean when i was 45 and a half and nothing since. Seriously wishesd i had pursued the fertility clinic route earlier as i was still ovulating perfectly normally up to 47 but it seems to have gone crank now! I am on CD145 and getting menopausal symptoms now :-( Ah well, i gave it my best shot :-) (actually i am still trying just in case!!! lol)

Hello everyone,
I came across this thread as I am doing some research for a documentary about pregnancy at the moment.
I am currently working on a 1 hour authored documentary on pregnancy for the BBC, featuring Cherry Healey. In the film Cherry will meet seven other pregnant women at seven different ages and stages of pregnancy. Through their personal stories and experiences we hope to discover more about the changing trends in conception, pregnancy, birth and early motherhood across women of all ages in the UK.
It is thought that the number of women giving birth over the age of 40 has
doubled in 10 years, and I feel that to illustrate this well it would be
fantastic for Cherry to meet someone close to the age of 40 or over who has become pregnant, either naturally or through a donor egg or insemination.
If there is anyone who would be willing to share their experience with
Cherry or is interested to find out more about the documentary I would love the opportunity to speak to you confidentially.
Please contact me at sophie.mohamed@renegadepictures.co.uk or 020 7449 3228
Kind regards
Sophie
