Subject : Advice on best place/deals to buy Bumgenius nappies ?

Hi Ladies,

Any ideas on where the best deals are to buy a set of Bumgenius V3's ?

Best price I've seen online is 15 nappies for £204 but thought I'd ask in case anyone else has been scouring the net and found a better offer ?

Many thanks !

Hi

Mothercare have bumGenius nappies on their website. They have 15 for £204.99 but if you use promotion code AF9 it gives you 10% off when you spend over £120, making the nappies £184.50.

The only downside is you don't get to chose the colours. They are blue, white and green for the boys' bundle and pink, white and yellow for the girls' bundle.

I have done quite a bit of research on these nappies. We were due to get some at the end of April but had some unexpected things to pay for and nothing spare to get the nappies! Still trying to save up for them! I love the look of them and can't wait to be able to get mine!

Hi Kelly,

Thanks for your reply - I've found them on bebeco for the same price and they throw in a bucket and laundry bag. I keep looking on a few sites to try and grab a bargain - we've also looked at quite a few diff cloth nappies but after I saw these properly at the Baby show the others came nowhere near, so I really want to hold out for the Bumgenius nappies - they seem to be the closest thing to disposables (and dry in as little as an hour even on an airer!) so for us lazy types they're the ones we're most likely to stick with !

Am getting sick of friends with babies smiling knowingly when I tell them I'm going "cloth" and telling me I'l abandon it within weeks - I shall stick with it just to avoid telling them they were right !

I ordermine when it was nappy week a few weeks back, was a delay on colour choice but that was fine. Got £60.00 off because of nappy week, so got 20 fot the price of 15 bargin ordered liners, mesh and wet bag all for "£249. think they are a little dearer now. You can pay by cheque and get a discount depending on the amount spent. I found 4 places cheaper than £204.

27+3

ps they arrived this week white, they are so cute, much nicer than the disposable pamper ones that I was given.

hi soy sauce i use bumgenius on my daughter and have done since she was four and a bit weeks old (she's nine weeks old now) and got the same response from people, you'll change your mind and be back in disposiables in a week. And at first i wasn't sure but after a week of using them i wouldn't go back, i love my bg. Pippa had really bad nappy rash that was bleeding untill we switched to reusable nappies and wipes (well if your going to wash nappies what's a few extra bits of material thrown in the wash and they save you a fortune) and it clered up in days and she hasn't had any since. We had to wait a couple of weeks to use ours as pippa was only 6lb 9 at birth so too small for them and i think you need a couple of weeks to get your head round being a mum and sorting out feeding first, so i would suggest using disposables for the first couple of weeks, just to make it that bit easier
I got my bg during reall nappy week, so paid under £250 for 20, have you looked on ebay?? Often people buy them and don't use them so sell them on brand new quite cheap, it's worth a look but search for both bumgenius and bum genius and people list them under both
xx

I've got four, two of the all in ones and two of the one size to try when the baby arrives.

I will then be on the lookout for a bulk buy of probably 15 one size nappies, if they are any good. All I've found so far is 15 for just over £200.
